Project Details​

​        ​The Gudivada L​ions Multi-Service Center is being constructed near Gudivada to provide health care for the people of the area. It will cover the needs of around 5,00,000 people in and around of Gudivada.
The two storied building being built for this purpose will house the following:


             Lions Charitable Eye Hospital will provide free eye care and will have one operating theater, 20 beds, a recovery room and an outpatient clinic. This hospital will run 6 days a week and services provided will include distribution of spectacles, medicines and  interocular lens surgery if needed. Estimated number of outpatient visits – 25,000 a year.


            Cancer Detection Center This free clinic will provide screening for cancers and referral to a network of physicians who will perform services at a very low cost.


          Medical Camps The building will house all the  free health camps offered by the Lions Clubs of Gudivada. These camps provide services in general medicine, diabetes care, pediatric health maintenance, dermatology, ENT, Dentistry and  Gynecology.


               Permanent Diabetic Clinic To counteract the epidemic of Diabetes in India, a permanent Diabetic clinic will provide free service of the area.India already has the largest number of Diabetics in the world and this problem will only get worse.
